Course - Boat skipper B Licence

The boat skipper B license entitles you to operate both sailing boats and motor boats with tonnage of up to 30 GT.

Yachts and JET vehicles can also be driven. The engine power is not limited here.  The driving range III applies here and the minimum age of the boat driver is 16 years.

The one-day preparation course and the subsequent exam, which is taken in Croatia, lasts the whole day.

Course – category B skipper is prepared and elaborated according to the prescribed exam program. Contains: Maritime Navigation – Nautical chart – chart reading, map position coordinates, course and distances, terrestical (coastal) navigation, compass, manuals for navigation, electronics navigation instruments. Motor industry and protective measures – internal combustion engines, engine systems; means and procedure of fire protection, measures for the protection of the sea from oil and other waste pollution. Maritime regulations and Meteorology . Types of boats and yachts, boat equipment, boat stability, ropes and knots, boat handling, navigation safety and first aid. Rules for avoiding collisions at sea, lights on the boats, day signals, sound signals, danger signals, maneuvering boats while sailing, docking, setting sail, anchoring. Maritime radiotelephone services VHF and VHF (DSC) Radiotelephone, Station Documents, Parts and Operations, Identification and call signal, Signal and call of danger, urgency and safety. Use of the international spelling table of letters and numbers. GMDSS system.
