Winter is a unique time to sail in Pula, Croatia. From November to March, the Adriatic reveals a different character — fewer crowds, stronger winds, and a pure sailing atmosphere. The winter months bring fewer crowds, peaceful harbours, and a truly authentic sailing atmosphere. Even when forecasts predict lighter winds, our performance sailing yacht, Bavaria Match 35, and the experience of our local skippers allow us to make the most of the conditions and enjoy every opportunity to sail. While swimming becomes less common as the sea cools (from around 16°C in November to 12–12.5°C in February), winter is the perfect season for refining sailing skills, practicing manoeuvres, and experiencing the pure thrill of being on the water.

Winter is also the heart of the regatta season in Pula. In November, the Arena Regatta brings together around 80 yachts on the starting line, while March opens the new racing season with the Full Moon Sailing Spectacle, proudly supported and co-organised by Adrinaut Sailing. This period offers excellent opportunities for sailors who want to join regattas, improve their skills, or take personalised sailing courses — from a few hours of focused training to more intensive programs designed to build confidence and advance sailing abilities.
